As the Ebola outbreak continues to affect Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia, governments, health workers, NGO’s, volunteers and celebrities have put their weight behind the fight.

More than 265,000 ONE members have signed our petition calling for world leaders to step-up their support – an incredible response!

We are Africa United is a new global team of football stars, international health organisations and corporations who are banding together to support those who are on the front line. In this video, #WeveGotYourBack, global football stars including ONE ambassador Yaya Touré, Patrick Viera and Patrice Muamba state: “I’m no hero” but the health workers fighting Ebola are.

And in this touching follow-up video, the health workers featured are filmed watching themselves in the video for the first time:

Providing critical education, resources and solidarity to those affected by Ebola in West Africa, their mission is to help stop the spread of Ebola and ensure access to healthcare.  A huge issue affecting the Ebola crisis is a lack of education around the symptoms and spread of this virus.

So ONE member Idris Elba volunteered to give this motivational locker room speech about how to prevent the spread of the virus and what to do if symptoms appear.
